my computer shuted down before I save the Microsof word

my computer shuted down beofre I saved the microsoft word application when i
opened again the computer I didn't find what I wrote

shuted down...gotta love it...

jk...what version of word are you using. Newer versions use AutoRecover.
You can check your settings under Tools>Options>File Locations
