There are many commercially available clinic data management programs. They
tend to be MUCH more elaborate (and correspondingly expensive) than a simple
Access template.
One very important issue is that any such application (in the US, I'm sure
other countries have similar laws) must comply with the very stringent HIPAA
patient privacy and data security regulations. These aren't trivial; $50,000
fines and jail time are among the prospects for those who violate them. Do a
GOOGLE search for HIPAA and take a look at the requirements to see if they
apply.
I seriously think you'ld be better off buying a good (get a colleague's
recommendation!) clinical data management package than trying to build one in
Access.
