Hi. I installed a new motherboard and after several
attempts to do a repair installation of XP Pro ended up
reinstalling it because the OS would not uninstall the
old mobo drivers. All of my old programs remained on my
hard drive yet had to be reinstalled. I have Office XP
Pro in the upgrade edition which I'm now trying to
reinstall and as I do so I'm getting a screen saying I
don't have a qualifying version, a screen pops up asking
where it can be found which doesn't list anything next to
the drive letters that might allow me to click on my
prior installation, and the installation process aborts.
I went into the program files and tried clicking on the
individual executables but a screen popped up saying I
needed to use setup to install each for this user. How
can I work around this and reinstall my Office programs?
I can't find the old CD from the 2000 which I upgraded
from. Thanks.
