Need help copying a pg from 1 Pub doc to a new 1 - format changes?

Not sure what I am doing wrong but I am trying to copy an entire page from a
multi page Publisher file to a new blank file and some of the formating
changes when I paste into the new file. To copy the page I am going to
Edit/Select All/Copy & then pasting into the new pub file. When I do this
though some of the font colors and graphic colors change.

I've also tried grouping all objects and then copy/paste and I get the same
thing. Is there a way around this or will I just have to reformat after the
paste?

Have you tried saving the original document with a new name and delete out
the pages you don't want?
