Decide on how the payment card should look and what elements it should
contain.. then create a table in MS Word or Publisher.. quickly learn how to
connect cells and format text within cells, and you will have a professional
looking payment card in no time at all..

Good luck

It sounded like she wanted someone to fork over their credit card number so
she could pay for aerobics classes. The internet has launched a whole new
way to panhandle and I thought that was this way.

To the OP, my apologies. To everyone else, I will still accept any donations
toward increasing my bead stash. :)

Well, maybe not crappy but...

I guess it still surprises me that people don't always ask questions well.
People know how to tell the doctor that they aren't feeling well or how to
describe their automotive problems, but *sometimes* questions about computer
issues leave the reader scratching their heads saying, "Huh?"

Believe me, I've responded in ways that have made me feel crappy (especially
the one time I told someone to RTFM) but not this time. ;-)

Julie

This is a basic table created in Word.. it can be scaled to print out onto
any size card.. I created a table three columns wide and four rows deep
initially.. then I highlighted (selected) the first two boxes and right
clicked for the formatting menu.. clicking on MERGE CELLS joined the boxes..
I repeated the action for row three, this time joining all boxes.. after
entering data into the last box in row four, I pressed the TAB key to get
the next row..

You can have as many columns and rows as you like.. create a table of your
own, and have a play with some of the formatting features.. you will be
amazed at what you can create.. any kind of form can be created in this
way..

A 50 page receipt book costs about 2 dollars at Wal-mart and does
carbonless copies so you have a record too.

If you want a "just that special look" reciept/session tracker with a
your very own look, I suggest you open Word, and "exercise" your
artistic talent using a combination of WordArt, ClipArt and tables.

Also you will want a Color laser printer, to render the cards, as ink
jet printing will smudge and smear when handled, and black and white
laser looks like you copied it on one of those cheap desktop copiers.

Hope this helps you get back on track with your project.

a very bad idear

:

A 50 page receipt book costs about 2 dollars at Wal-mart and does
carbonless copies so you have a record too.

Well, maybe not crappy but...

I guess it still surprises me that people don't always ask questions
well.
People know how to tell the doctor that they aren't feeling well or
how to
describe their automotive problems, but *sometimes* questions about
computer
issues leave the reader scratching their heads saying, "Huh?"

Believe me, I've responded in ways that have made me feel crappy
(especially
the one time I told someone to RTFM) but not this time. ;-)

It sounded like she wanted someone to fork over their credit card
number
so she could pay for aerobics classes. The internet has launched a
whole
new way to panhandle and I thought that was this way.

To the OP, my apologies. To everyone else, I will still accept any
donations toward increasing my bead stash. :)

Julie

Decide on how the payment card should look and what elements it
should
contain.. then create a table in MS Word or Publisher.. quickly
learn
how to connect cells and format text within cells, and you will
have a
professional looking payment card in no time at all..

Good luck

Bob I said:
If you want a "just that special look" reciept/session tracker with a your
very own look, I suggest you open Word, and "exercise" your artistic
talent using a combination of WordArt, ClipArt and tables.

Also you will want a Color laser printer, to render the cards, as ink jet
printing will smudge and smear when handled, and black and white laser
looks like you copied it on one of those cheap desktop copiers.

Hope this helps you get back on track with your project.
does it not make sece that if i was using the computer to find a payment
card that is the road i wanted to take if i was not using the computer i
would not have ask for help thank you for the help i got "JoAnn Paules

Ummm, Julie, since you are looking for free help, your response was about
as welcome as my first response. Bob's idea is actually a good idea - it
just isn't quite what you'd had in mind.
