nested if

i do not really no excel that well, i am not asking this question for myself.
In excel i think you can only have 7 nested if statements but someone needs
to do 13 of them is there a way to do this

Rework the spread sheet so the answer can be done in 7 or less nesting
levels per cell. 7 is the limit for nesting period, "IF" function or
otherwise.

The other option is to break the equation up into shorter pieces and
place those pieces elsewhere in the spreadsheet. In the final cell,
just refer to the pieces.

That is the same thing only re-phrased. 7 or less nesting levels per
cell is the ONLY option.

You may be able to use the HLookup or VLookup function instead.
