Network copy of publisher files

When I try and copy publisher files across the network for
backup, I get a message that the disk may be full, or the
file may be in use. I'm using XP Home and Publisher from
Office 2000. Can this 'feature' be fixed? Recommended
workaround?

Publisher is not at all network friendly, however, if Publisher is closed I
cannot understand why you would get the messages.

Maybe because the disk *is* full? Or possibly the user has exceeded their
allocated space?
