new page problem

when I get to the bottom of my page and press `enter` the cursor then moves
on to a new page but the cursor is halfway down the new page and does not
allow me to type in the top half,
How do I correct this?

Juco,
Just a thought : File - PageSetUp - select the third tab - check if the
vertical alignment is not set to center in stead of top.
