Newsgroups in Outlook

Hi Group,

I am using the OE right now but would really like to use the OUTLOOK. The
only thing that is holding me back is the ability to use the newsgroups. As
far as I can tell, the newsgroups can only be set up in the OE; is that
correct?
I don't see any possibility in the OUTLOOK. Only email accounts but nothing
about News accounts.

Can anyone help me with this? It would be greatly appreciated.

Which version of Outlook, Geddy? Outlook needs OE for NGs to work. See the

Thanks Jim,

I was hoping for something to get away from OE but it doesn't look like I'll
be able to. BTW: My OE is the 6.0. The Outlook is from the Small Business
Edition 2003. Any other tips or comments that I should know about before I
make the "Big Switch" from OE to Outlook, from anybody ?

You would like to use another newsreader *rather* than OE? Many use Agent
Newsreader from Forte. They have a free version as well.

There are many newsreaders from which to choose. Many people like the
newsreader in Netscape. Others are available as well. Try
