No Pictures

In word when im viewing a document that has images or im just inserting
images onto a blank page it is invisible. When I click on the image and move
it, the image shows up. When I scroll down over the image that part of the
image dissappears, same with a tool window of any kind.

Tools | Options | View: Check the box for "Drawings" and clear the check box
for "Picture placeholders."
