Not able to view .pst file importing into Outlook

I am trying to view an old .PST file.
I use Outlook Express, but have Outlook97 installed on my
computer so I can see old archived emails I have on
disk/cd-rom.
When I try to import the .pst file it gives me an error
message that says "Access is denied. You do not have the
permission required to access the file c:\..."

I saved it on my hard drive but have also tried from the
cd-rom that it is on.

Is there some sort of way I have to configure outlook
prior to importing this file???

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Remove the "Read-Only" attribute from the copy on your HDD.
