Not show task on gantt calendar

Is there a way to make a task and all its subtasks NOT show up on the Gant
chart calendar timeline? I dont want to delete it permanently, just not show
it and also not have the summary show it.

The obvious work around is delete it and save as a new file...

Hi Michael,

You can select the tasks, click the Task Information button on the Standard
toolbar and click in the "Hide task bar" checkbox on the General tab.
