Not Sure which task type to use

Hi There,

If I have a task that is going to take 5 hours to complete and it's going to
be scheduled over 4 days for one or more resources what task type should I be
selecting?
I currently have selected Fixed Work as the task type, is this the correct
task type to be using?

Fixed Units is the most flexible and useful default. Remember, task type
only has an effect when editing a resource assignment. It has no effect when
creating one.

Just exactly what it says. IF you have a task that is 5 days duration and
you assign a resource to it 100%, Project calculates that task requires 40
man-hours of work. The duration does not change when you make the
assignment - in fact, the duration will remain 5 days regardless of whether
you assign the resource at 100%, 50%, 10%, or whatever as long as it is
there are no other resources already assigned to the task. When you make
that assignment you get exactly the same results regardless of whether the
task type is fixed work, fixed effort, or fixed units. It is only if you
CHANGE a resource assignment's parameters AFTER the assignment has been made
that task type will affect the results you get.
