Number format

I am entering 12 numbers into a cell and each time the
final number changes to a zero, the only way that I can
see to retain the final number is to enter as text by
prefixing the number with a comma but of course I can't
then autosum(Excel 2000)

Are you sure that you only have *12* numbers?

XL can handle 15.

Do you have any sort of custom formatting applied to the cell?
Any underlying code?
