Object in Publisher keeps disappearing

I keep putting a picture into my document and it is there
until I save or the computer autosaves. How do I handle
this. It has happened before, but I ususally repaste the
graphic and it stays put.

What is the problem?

What version of Publisher are you using?

What format is the picture you are having this problem with?

The issue you describe is totally unknown in any version of Publisher.
