Obscured workbook windows in XL and now Word

Since I adopted 2008, the workbook windows in XL have sat behind the formula bar and the drawing toolbar. I have to resize and reposition the workbook windows so that I can have access to all icons at the top and all cells on the left. Since the last update prior to Christmas, it has happened in Word as well. It's such a waste of time and was never a problem with Office X or 2004.

Try docking the formula and drawing bars (e.g., at the top or left side
of the screen). The workbook windows will then automatically move below
them.

Thanks for the reply. I take it you mean to re-set the formula bar and drawing tool bar. I did already have then positioned in the top LH corner of the screen. I have re-set them in that position and it seems to have worked so thanks for the assistance.
