Ofc 2007 - cannot copy/paste from Word to Publisher

HomeFront Publisher

When I try to copy text from Word to Paste in Publisher I cannot do it. I
can copy but once I get to Publisher, "paste" is grayed out. I'm working in
Office 2007.
