Office 2000 Problem

Dear All,

One of my files in word 2000 got set to read-only when I tried to cut and
paste from the web. I can't get it unlocked now. I never had any options set
in the save to cause this.

Also, when I clicked the general forums, i got directed here instead for
some reason.

Any suggestions?

Try finding the file win Windows Explorer and do a right click on the
file, select properties and un-check read only.


If I understand your message, you need to click on the drop down list
headed up with Access and choose Word.
