Office 2000 SP3 update fails after installation of Office XP and .

I have installed Office XP (SBE) and subsequently Office 2003 (Standard) over
Office 2000 PRO, and I am now unable to update Office 2000 to SP3. It
continually gives an unsuccessful message. I have tried to uninstall XP and
2003, and then update 2000, but this gives the same problem. Is there any way
of updating 2000 with SP3 now?

Hi Dovka,

You're saying that you're running all 3 versions at
the same time? Which apps from Office 2000 remain?

What error message are you getting?

See if runnning the Office 2000 versions of the applications
then going to http://officeupdate helps.

Hello Bob

I am running MS Access from 2000 Pro. All other Office apps are running
either from XP (Publisher) or 2003 SE. I will try your suggestion and see if
this helps.

Thank you for your help. I eventually managed the update by loading Access
2000, and selecting repair office from the help menu. This then allowed me to
run the update successfully.
