While trying to clean up and free some space on the main partition of my hard
drive, I made a terrible mistake. This is likely obvious to everyone else,
but do NOT mess with the files in the Windows\Installer directory!
End result is that my Office 2003 installation is pooched. I would like to
reinstall it but (because of my terrible mistake) I cannot uninstall the
previous version.
Does anyone know of a way to manually uninstall the whole package, including
the registry? By the way, the msicuu2 executable will not run on my machine.
Windows XP is not recognizing it as a 32bit application. No doubt this is
related to the terrible, terrible mistake!
