Office 2007 B2 and Vista B2

T

TBomb

It would seem that the Beta2 of Office 2007 isn't compatible with the Beta2
of Vista despite the fact that after installing Vista it suggests that you
try the office beta.
After installing nothing will run it just goes into an endless loop of
"encountered problem, restarting ____" until you uncheck the box that says
"restart office". I have let it send error reports though. I also performed
the office diagnostics with no errors.
After changing all the executibles to xp sp2 compatibility I can get
everything but outlook to run. We are using exchange 2003 and when trying to
open Outlook it says unable to open default e-mail folders, the information
store could not be opened."
Any ideas?

I am having a similar problem. It keeps telling me it cannot connect to my
exchange server.

I've tried to turn off all the VISTA security features (including the
firewall). I've tried to reinstall office 2007 b2. I've tried to create a
new profile. Nothing.

My exchange account works fine with OL2003 on an XP machine, so it's not an
account problem.

I've tried via RPC over HTTP and a VPN connection to my corpNet. Nothing.

What gives Microsoft?
