Office crashes furing save

Hi Folks,
I am using fully updated Windows XP Home and fully updated Office 2003 Pro.
I am trying to save all typed of Office documents but the program hangs and
stops responding when I try to browse to where I want to save it. I have
tried disabling my Norton Internet Security and the detect and repair tool,
but it still crashes. I can save to the default location when I go to save,
but it crashes when I hit the dropdown box to change that location. Anyone
know what I need to do? Thanks ahead of time!

Right-click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop,
left-click on Disconnect Network Drive, and disconnect any mapped
drives that are not currently available.
