I am running XP Home Edition.
When connected to the internet, the help files in all installed Office 2000
programs are very slow to open if they open at all. The speed up
considerably in opening when not connected to the internet. In addition, the
hyperlinks in the help files don't work. The only way to get the help files
to be useful at all is to use the awful Office Assistant.
I have tried re-installing but that didn't help.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
