Office products freezing when opening folders

If I try to open up a folder while in any of the Office2003 products such as
Word, Excel or Publisher, the program freezes. If I open the same folder from
explorer, the folder opens and I can double-click on any of the files to open
the office product successfully.

I have had the same problem that you have, and garfield-n-odie send me a
reply to the following link:

MS06-015".

It worked for me.
