In the last two days I have had three different workstations with Office
2000 installed suddenly start prompting for the Office CD when the user
clicks on the shortcut to open Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access. This is
not a new installation as these users have been on these PC's for over a
year. I have seen this happen when a user is actually working in one of
these programs and tries to use a feature that is not installed, but these
PC have the full install on them and it happens when they try to open the
program. Any ideas what might be causing this?
