Office Toolbar

Bill Helbron

I took my computer in for service to add some RAM and a new video card. The
technician apparently did something that caused my Microsoft Office Toolbar to
disappear. I can get it back by typing "C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office\1033\Msoffice.exe" but I have to do it each time I boot. What do I
have to do to set this as a default? Thanks!

Bill,

Create a shortcut to the .exe file, and place the
shortcut in the computers startup folder.

Thanks Tommy, but I already have a "shortcut" in the C:\Windows\Start Menu
folder, unless that's not the right one.

Run detect and repair and elect to have the shortcuts reinstalled.

Open any Office program, under Help->Detect and Repair, elect to repair and
reinstall your shortcuts.

Thanks Milly, that did the trick! BTW, can you explain why the Microsoft Office
window that opens when loading changed color from a blue border to black in the
process?
