Office vs. Works

I get an error message "Cannot display the end user
license agreement which must be displayed & accepted
before you can use the application can. To display
agreement, reinstall the application" I just installed
Office last night. Is there a conflict between the 2
programs? I think works came w/ my computer. How do I
reinstall and if I do, will it mess up Office? I think I
have a disk from my old computer, but it was on 2000 and
this one is on XP. Thanks
