Office XP Open and Saving to Network Folder Issues

Hi. I am having issues with opening and saving to network folders from
Office XP, all applications. I have Windows XP SP2 and Office XP SP3.
When in the open or save dialog, when we dropdown the "look in" list,
it takes 15 to 45 seconds to display the mapped drives from the
network.

Any clue as to what could be doing this?

Right-click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop,
left-click on Disconnect Network Drive, and disconnect any mapped
drives that are not currently available.
