I have a customer who is using Office XP Pro and it has been working fine
until recently. Everytime you try to open any file of .doc, .xls or any
other office file, it displays a message saying "Cannot open file" or "File
is unavailable". For example, a Word document. Word opens, the message
appears and all you have is an OK button. When you try to close Word,
another message appears saying that the normal.do ttemplate already exists,
do you want to overwrite it? Yes, No or Cancel.
I removed Office from his PC and removed the Office folder within in Program
Files and re-installed it. It worked for 1 day and then doesn't work again.
Please, please, does anyone have any ideas or links for me? Any help is very
appreciated.
