! on project task

I have a task that got the following message, it is noted by an '!'.
This task finishes on ' date' which is later than its deadline on 'date'.
The end date is after the start date and it has a 'start no ealier than '
constraint.
How do I correct this error?

Hi Cindy,

It appears as though in addition to the SNET constraint, the task also has a
deadline date applied which you have missed (the ! message). Double click
on the task to display the Task Information dialog box. Click on the
Advanced tab and you will see the deadline information there. To remove the
deadline, click and drag across the date to highlight, and press the delete
key on the keyboard.
