Hi,

I used publisher 2003 to create a file. However on my home computer i have
publisher 2000 and it will not allow me to open the file cause it was created
in 2003. Is there any way around this ?

Thanks.

In Publisher 2003, go to File > Save As... > Save As Type > Publisher 2000.

Formatting will be lost.

Then it should easily.

If you are running Norton AntiVirus, this can interfere with the process.
Uninstall Norton and switch to AVG, which is free, and you will be free of
Norton issues forever. If you're unwilling to do that, then you will need
to disable Script Blocking and/or the Microsoft Office PlugIn and/or cross
your fingers.
