Open or Save file window

Hi
Is it possible to have the Open or Save file window so that it resembles the Windows explorer window? I want to be able to 'drag' a file from my default directory to another directory without cut/copy and paste.
I used to use Wordperfect years ago and was able to do this. I am running Word 2003. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
