Is there any way to open MS Publisher version 1.0 files in Publisher 2003?

No, it is the only version that you cannot open in Publisher 2003.
If the file is important I can convert it for you.

Open them in Publisher 2.0, save, then open in Publisher 2003. If you
don't have Publisher 2.0, ask really nicely and someone here might offer
to do it for you. (I don't have Publisher 2.0, otherwise I would.)

On another note: You're crazy. Why are you still using Publisher 1.0
after all these years (15)?

Mary,
Thank you for the offer, but... too may documents to convert.
If I find a couple that I can't do without or don't want to spend the time
recomposing them, then I'll take you up on your offer.

Thank you again.

Ed,

My previous employer never updated the Publisher. For most of what we were
doing at the time, 1.0 was just fine... basic, easy, no fuss, just get to it.

I came across these old documents a while back and we are using Pub.2003.
Just thought if there was an easy way to convert... well, you know. Would
have been nice, anyway.

Thank you for your response, I appreciate it very much.

Ed,

I saved these files and came across them a while back. A few of them may be
worth converting, but hard to say without being able to view them.

Current employer purchased Office Pro 2003 and has no previous versions of
Publisher.

I thank you very much for the information. Just was hoping for an easy fix.

Mary Sauer offer to convert a file or two and if I find one worth it, I"ll
contact her.

Thank you again.
