opening attachment

When I send a mail from Outlook 2000 to a distibutionlist with a Word
attachment I get a reaction from several recievers that they can not open
the attachment they get the following error: "documentname or path not
valid". When I send the same mailmessage to one member of the list seperatly
the attachment can be opened without any problem. What's going wrong...??
