Organization chart - Unicode characters

I'm trying to build an org chart from an access 2000 database using Visio
2000. The database contains Greek text fields. The text appears as question
marks. Anyone know how to do this ?

I'm not sure you will get answers from this forum... I have asked the same
question in multiple ways, but no one ever addresses the basic question: Why
can't Visio access, use, print, view, or otherwise deal with any other font
type than TTF, and even if it a TTF, only the first 256 characters of the
font can be used (which makes useless the Unicode logic). (see previous
post).

I have had to work around the issue by creating a font with the various
extended characters that I might use and map the font to the first 256
characters.

I haven't quite figured out why all the other Microsoft apps were designed
to handle unicode and Opentype font tech. But not Visio.

Microsoft Visio 2003 is the first version of Visio to support Unicode. This
should enable a broader range of text and language interchange scenarios.
Unfortunately, I cannot speak to the question on fonts. I am not familiar
with Visio's text composition technology.
