OSB PROBLEM

When I use the Office Shortcut Bar, it opens the PROGRAM
but not the FILE. I've downloaded all updates from
Microsoft, I've done a "repair" with the original CD.
I've uninstalled OSB, but it automatically reinstalls
itself when I reboot. Any suggestions?

The OSB is supposed to open the program, not the file. Using the additional
special shortcuts (New Office Document or Open Office Document) can open
specific files but the shortcuts on the OSB are to the programs, not files.
