Out of Office Reply - Outlook 2002

Does anyone know if there is a way of using the "out of
office auto reply" in outlook 2002 without having to buy
the full version of exchange? (I don't need any of the
other features...just the out of office one.)

You can spoof the Out of Office Assistant using the Rules Wizard, but
Outlook must be kept running in order for the rule to work. Look here
