Out of Office

I cannot seem to activate the out of office reply rule on
my outlook program. I followed the help instructions to
a "T" and I can't get it to show up on the tools pull down
menu. I'm running Office 2002 XP pro suite.

To use the Out of Office Assistant, you must be using Exchange as your mail
server. If you do not have Exchange in the background, you will have to use
Rules Wizard to create a rule to reply to incoming mail. However, this will
also send replies to spammers to let them know they have a live address.

(Exchange, by default, only replies to internal mail, not external so there
is little chance that spammers will get a notice.)
