Outlook 2000 changing from pop to Exchange

After using Outlook for Office 2000 with pop and smtp, the option to use
Exchange is no longer there. I know it's an option with Outlook 2000 right
after installation, and I don't think there is an option not to install
Exchange support. Can you make this switch without re-installing it?
