Outlook 2000 from Eudora

I'm in the process of transferring multiple accounts (on seperate machines)
from Eudora to Outlook. I've done it with several computers, but on one
machine, Outlook won't recognize the mail server and will only let me start
up Outlook to open the default system folders (Outlook Express will recognize
the exact same settings to let me send/receive mail on the same machine).
All I need to do is to be able to get into the "normal" operating mode of
Outlook so that I can import an email account from Outlook Express (as stated
in pretty much all of the instructions that came from Googleing the process).
Any way to get Outlook to open up in "email" mode rather than "system
folders" mode without physically connecting to the server?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Joe asked:
