Outlook 2000 hangs every time it's opened

Every time I open Outlook 2000, it stops responding.
Have tried all the obvious fixes - inbox repair tool,
uninstalling/reinstalling, opening without the preview
pane, deleting and reinstalling registry entries.
Nothing works. Can anybody help?

Try a new outlook profile. You could also run the office removal tool, then
reinstall.

If that fails, create a test windows profile and see how outlook runs.
