Outlook 2002 duplicate email

I am having a problem with Outlook 2002.

I setup a POP3 account and everytime I hit send and
receive, outlook would download all the mails from the
server even if the messages were downloaded before.

So if I hit send and receive 5 times, I would get 5 copies
of the same email.

Does anyone know how I can fix this issue?

make sure your advanced settings in the pop mail setup dialog does NOT have
a check mark in the "Leave a copy of messages on the server" box

That doesn't help if you really want the messages left on the server.

Paul, could you turn on diagnostic logging (see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q300479) and post
the OPMLog.log file after a few downloads in which you get duplicates?
