Outlook 2002 Laptop/Outlook 2000 on desktop

How do I configure Outlook to work on both a laptop and
desktop? I have a cablemodem attached to the desktop and
remote access installed on the laptop. The desktop has
Outlook 2000 installed and the laptop has Outlook 2002
installed. Desktop is working fine but I'm not getting any
e-mail on the laptop. Thanks for any help I can get
