Outlook 2003 and multiple POP accouts

I have set up several POP3 accounts in Outlook 2003. When doing a test to
download messages from these accounts, Outlook shows two copies of the
messages received. However in checking to see if the server is sending
duplicate copies, I am finding it is not. How is Outlook receiving duplicate
copies when only one copy is sent?
