Running XP Pro and Outlook 2003, AVG and AntiVIR 6.0. Outlook was
running fine and then all of a sudden, I'm still getting emails but the
content is missing. I can see the header just fine but absolutely blank
screen in the body. HELP!
Thanks so much!

1) You should never run more than one AV program's on-access scanner at any
one time.
2) You should not be scanning incoming or outgoing mail with your AV
scanner. If you are, disable that feature.

Techie friend put second Anti-V software on. Understand your point, but
if we're not scanning incoming or outgoing, how are we protected?
Thanks again!

Real time protection (on access) is more than sufficient. The
incoming/outgoing mail scan is a marketing ploy meant to slurp in the
newbies into thinking that they are MORE protected rather than telling them
that when they actually access an email, the on-access protection is
catching the viri. Plus, if the real-time scanning is working, please tell
me how they are able to SEND a virus that should have been caught on their
system?

Knew you couldn't.
