Outlook 2003 multiple Personal Folders?

So, I copied my outlook 2002 pst file into the proper
place after installing outlook 2003, and now my folder
list shows two personal folders with all my email in
them, and mail is being delivered to both. I don't like
this. How do I fix it?

What happens if you right click on Personal Folders (The one that doesn't
have Outlook Today next to it) in the folder list and select Disconnect? If
you get an error message, you will have to create a new mail profile via the
mail applet in the control panel and then delete the old one.

There's no disconnect when I right click, and neither
says outlook today, tho the outlook today window opens. I
could take a screenshot, but I'm posting using the MS web
interface, so have no idea how I could upload said
screenshot.

oops... outlook 2003 should be Close and not disconnect.

you can also go thru the mail applet in the control panel to manage data
files.

Helen,

I had the same problem. In outlook go to menu file/data file management. A
window opens where you can delete one of them.
