Outlook 2003

I have office 2003. When i'm using outlook, everytime I
close it, it stays in task manager. I can't open it again
until I close the process. This is very annoying. I
tried the scanpst.exe, and it says there are no errors.
I'm running WinXpPro. Does any know why this is
happening or how to fix. Thank you very much in advance
