Outlook characters at end of line when hit Enter key

I have a user that when she hits the Enter key she gets a character that
shows up at the end of the line. Any help would be great.

And that character would be...??? Also is she using Word as E-maileditor?
Make sure that in Word Tools-> Options-> tab View-> section Formatting marks
nothing is selected.
