outlook express jpg problem

My computer will now not open jpg files that are attached
to emails..this is relatively new and I'm not sure why.
2hrs with Gateway didn't help and they refered me to
Mirosoft...Microsoft refered me to the kindness of a
stranger as they don't want to help on OEM software....so
any ideas? Much appreciated.

Check under Tools, Options and then the security tab. There is an option in
the latest Outlook Express that is sometimes enabled that prevents
attachments in order to try to protect you from viruses but you can disable
it. Hope this helps.
