Outlook express-Outlook

Would like to change from Outlook Express to outlook,
both programs are on machine, I am looking for steps to
switch and be sure data is maintained.

The eassiest way to do this is to start Outlook and to configure nothing.
Choose File-> Import and Export-> Import Internet Mail and Account Settings.

This way your messages and account settings for your ISP will be copied to
Outlook.
